The Nancy Drew (Cocktail)

Any 30 rock fans out there? Anyway, i just watched this week's episode on tivo today. In it, Jack (Alec Baldwin) orders a "Nancy Drew" but he claims that when a man orders it, it's called a "Hardy Boy". Recipe as follows:
1 part White Rum
2 parts Diet Ginger Ale
a splash of lime

That's the first time ever I see a blog comment spam in french (and I AM french !).
Thanks for the Nancy Drew Cocktail ("for men it's called a Hardy Boy !") recipe. Was wondering if it were a real one !

Good luck with your blog.

I have tried it after the show... thouhgt it was a fake, and possibly is because not a single friend of mine ikes it... But because i love 30 rock, i love it...

Careful with the lime cordial, and add more rum, otherwise it's pointless,
so i'd say

Double rum, same amount of ginger ale, half of it as cordial and PLENTY OF ICE or at least keep the rum in the freezer, don't order it in the pub , you'll get real crap! Homemade you can play with it....

The show is clever, the reference was based on this guy's two book series:

I always imagined a Nancy Drew would be a virgin cocktail, like a Shirley Temple
